Toy

I'm heartily sick of the kangaroo courts
fat paste up Dolly's and bad Micky Finns

Lightning wanders the streets of NY
tomato soup with stale crackers again

             Monotony's broken with unnbridled passion
for the gutter-wench living downstairs

In the clippings, she looks like the perfect Madonna
graceful, stylish, long, honey blond hair

Life is the trudgework of endless tomorrows
all work and no play make jack a dull boy

I'll drop down and see her, remove all her sorrows
polish and keep her, a well tended toy

I love heinz tomato soup!! but we dunk toast or chunks of crusty bread in ours, stale crackers and pooh! and they clag your mouth up...

I don't think you'll ever be a dull boy, even with a toy-weilding woman around you

    nicely done D.

Well penned, strong, emotional. Did some woman hurt you some how? That's the feeling I got.

    Love,

    David,
Good strong form. She sounds like a lot of women.
