Clean Up With Confidence

I do not like to clean my room,
I do not like to clean with a broom.

I will not clean here and there,
I will not clean up anywhere.

I will not clean it with a mop,
I will not clean it while I hop.

I will not clean up anywhere,
I will not get up off this chair.

I will not do it now you see,
I will not clean up off of me.

Fine I will try and clean up,
first of all I'll wash this cup.

I'll sweep the kitchen, mop the floor
then I'll clean my room some more.

It's not that bad as I can tell,
I will clean, it will look swell.

I will clean it with a broom,
I will clean up in my room.

I will clean it with a mop,
I will clean and I won't stop.

I am clean and this is fun,
I'm so glad the work is done.

Thank you, thank you to myself,
I put the cleaner on the shelf.

With confidence I got the job done,
now I can relax out in the sun.

    Yay for cleanup time! Hey, when your done if your really having that much fun you can come all over to my house cuz I've got plenty of work now!
    This was the most recognizably Dr. Seuss poem I've seen in the contest, thanks for making me smile with your entry
