Outside, wind roars, as windows creak
And monsters steal me away.
Into the night, they creep and crawl,
Dancing through ominous leaves.
Asleep, I lay, unconsious of threat,
Lost among my dream wasteland,
While consciously, the wind still bites,
And rain begins to fall.
An ice cold drop peirces my sleep,
And I snap out of my reverie.
I see the sky rushing above
And the swaying trees blown down.
I feel their hands of greedy self-service
And know I can't escape.
They've tied me down,
Stranded me silent,
And force me to bend to their will.
The lights fade away,
And darkness encases
While their claws still beg for my skin.
Forsaken above,
And desired below,
The monsters have broken my will.
Author notes
Well, I made up the last stanza in like 5 minutes, so what do you all think?
