There's a boy who distances himself.
Hiding his heart from the world.
Everyone doesn't care anymore. They can't wait till he leaves this world.
Clare was a girl very shy very meek but still very sweet.
Others teased her until she cried.
Lance one day was walking by as she began to cry.
Dana had threw mud into Clare's hair causing her to break into tears.
Eyes full of rage he picked up a worm.
Yet none suspected it when it when down Dana's shirt.
Everyone laughing as she started to squirm.
She took off screaming names as the others followed giving her new nicknames.
She looked up at the bold boy.
Only to see him turning away and beginning to walk away.
Fumbling to her feet she ran after him stumbling and landing her rear hitting the ground.
Turning to her he offered a hand.
Everything distant as his eyes gazed into hers.
Next thing you see is a smile on his face and a heart opening up as he helped her up. Asking quietly, "Are you alright?" she nodded as they walked off hand and hand into the sunlight his eyes shining as he looked at her next to him.
