My heart is really quite undecided
My mind is feeling quite misguided
Between an old love and a brand new flame
Each choice I think, will leave me in shame.
If I stay with this old time infatuation
I subject myself to the same complication
The fact that during our relationship he chose
To go against commitments he should have transpose.
Then if I decide to leave in hope to find
A relationship free of feeling confined
Nonetheless I know I'll be unsatisfied still
Unhappy without that old love thrill.
So the question I propose has to be
Which choice will leave me truly happy
I am so confused with what I should do
Tangled mind, heart, and soul -misconstrue

I don't like the use of the word "transpose" at the end of the second stanza. I think you could have found something that would better fit the meaning of what you are trying to say.
Congrats on your HM.
