Higher and higher

Seeing this little chirpy
in milky feathers,
a stir in heart weaved in,
reminding peace
these rocking heads scream.
Are we near it
or far as this pigeon is from the sky
in my hands
twisting for liberty?
My soul soars with it
as heaven ward it flies,
it has to be possible.
