I cant sleep, I don't want to dream...


memories fade like vapor.
like drifting clouds, shadows

erasing my thoughts
disabling me from seeing you
like a smokescreen

I can barely remember anymore
But dreams bring you back

emerald green eyes
lips like sugarcane
warm skin
a touch like ice
like fire
a touch long forgotten

a lost love I long since
let go of
forgotten...

My memories have faded away
but my dreams bring you back

I cant sleep, I don't want to dream
