A Granddaughter's Sorrow

She is young and doesn't quite understand
only knowing she will see them again
her thoughts are now that they are gone
but still it seems like she is alone

Her young heart is torn by their passing
thinking that their love was lasting
only now knowing it is from up above
that they are sending their special love

Their times of holding, huggin her are gone
it seems that everything is quite wrong
but she knows that their will be a tommorrow
this is a tale of a granddaughter's sorrow.

Wow, that sums up losing a loved one so well. I like the phrasing and the rhyming was good also. Great write and I hope that I may be blessed to read more of your writing!

A beautiful write in summing up your daughters sorrow and loss, Lossing a grandmother at any age is so hard, I miss my gramma every day even still, but I hold on to her smile and thoughts and the lessons she passed down to me and from them I can hold on to her, and your daughter will also find a special place to move ahead.
