Integral

Time rejoices as it passes
fluttering chronicled wings in joy;

pasts blending into present,
futures marking history,

          life living love.

Each passing
hands to the other
the gentle knowledge of self.

Every touch, a miracle

granting sepia tones,
          coalescing and meshing,

muting ocular shouts to one language,

one petal in a magic bloom.

This piece tugged at my Heartstrings and swelled the eyes
I read several times and kept seeing like a box...with trinkets in it...Looks like watch...
    pictures and letters....
    Looks like a hat box...
    being shown a heart shape...
whether meaning Love or Love letters etc..
    Seeing a closet...
    and suit...looks like a man's suit...
    Wedding album~
and strange as it may sound....
like a wagon covered carriage~ horse pulled
reference to going to the new country...
    hearing word: ancestors
    Powerful images You have shared~~

    These lines grabbed and pulled~
    Each passing
    hands to the other

Connections. Everything's connected in our lives forming one giant circle ending sooner than later for
some, but all connected. And we are all an integral part of it. This is how I interpret this wonderful poem.

As I read a warm nostalgic feeling flowed over me and I remembered the path from my aunt's house to the beach where I used to play as a child.

Your poem is so beautifully expressed.
