i remember what i felt one year ago
at this very time
on this very day
writing these very lines
i miss you so
and i need you here with me
i have my heart in my hands
broken into two without amends
the first side filled with memories
and the other gone with you
i cry these tears which represent
all the seconds
that i miss you
and all the minutes
that i need you
all the hours that i spent
crying myself to sleep
with no one there
and all the days
that i seem so lost
walking around do distraught
now it's almost been two years
of all of those things
the lost, the tears and the hurt
but no matter how many times i grieve
or cry myself to sleep
nothing can change the way i fell
even though the truth is real
to me you will always be alive and here
in my heart you will lie
forever and ever
until i die

Even after this life, perhaps you can see your grandfather. I believe that God has a home for those who will accept His existence, love, and the payment Christ made for our sins. If you believe this too, perhaps you will see your grandpa again. The Bible says that Christians do not mourn without hope, for we know we will one day be reunited. I pray that you have that hope, dear.

I feel for you I lost my grandfather before I was born the rest of my grandparents live with illnesses including: COPD, diabetes, a heart issue, and asthma.
