Mother

Her face was once ,soft as velvet
Like the petals of a rose.
Why God blessed me with such
A special mother,God only knows.
Her face of velvet has aged
And withered with time.
But i'm so very happy that
God made her mine.
I wouldn't trade her
Not for all the diamonds in the world.
For she's the biggest diamond,
I will ever find.
For she's not only my mother,
She's my confidant and friend.
For on the love of my mother,
I truly can depend,
I love you Mother
Thanks for being my friend.

    So beautiful!!! It's a wonderful tribute to your lovely mother! I miss my mother so much, as she passed away some time ago, but I never forget her.
    You only get one mother, so we need to honour her.

    You have touched my heart and I thank you so much for sharing this with me. Yes I can hear my Brian saying these words or sending a card with the words written to me. You bring tears to my eyes. Thank you for thinking of me. The love and comfort of my friends here make it so much easier for me to get through Brian's birthday Sunday.

    did I miss something...only my mother is this special LOL...she is this and so much more and the lord sure did bless us....I know there is nothing in the world that can compare to her.
