Why should I then read all of this?
A book is lifeless, hard, and tastes no good.
It's tiring reading all those lines.
And stories about people never there
nor will be? I don't think I ever need them
in my life that sure will be
clear-cut, all linear and straight.
How wrong was I! One page - enough
to tell me about forgotten realms,
to learn from people far away,
to clean up in my head.
Two pages and I paint my world
As far as I can think.
I fly and both my feet lift off,
I talk to dinosaurs.
This is my place where I feel warm
and everything's for me.
I learn how other people feel
or speak with different heads.
I'm glad that I have found this place
this house that's full of worlds
all inside is my design
- and all between two cards.
