I gave you my reasons
And total control
I gave you the key to my thinking
Something else that you stole
Then you vanished right before my eyes
Was it a compromise?
Was I too dumb to realise?
And see what was beneath all those lies
[CHORUS]
So when it comes down to the punch line
The one I always fail to find
What beomes of all this
A fatal kiss?
Or hit and miss?
You really are needles and pins
And I'm stuck with all of your sins...
You fill me with anger
You fill me with lust
I'm full of such envy
I'm just fit to bust
What else can I do to please
Will you take me aside
And drive me down to my knees
[CHORUS]
So when it comes down to the punch line
The one I always fail to find
What will become of all this
A fatal kiss?
Or hit and miss?
You really are needles and pins
And I'm stuck with all of your sins...

there seems to be more that's needed for this to be fully understood. its been a while since i've had a chorus introduced and i like it. what lies.. i question. i understand this is a rumble of the tongue, but the 2nd stanza makes me think that you've moved it to a sexual direction. otherwise it's religious. i'm not sure. but i'm not a highly religious person. none the less.
thank you for your piece
