Fleeting, moving,
Alive and dead.
Shifting, breathing,
Foolishly you chase the shadows.
Gental, Destrucive,
That witch you hold burns by your touch.
Empty, a soul,
Never can you be seen when you are most needed.
Like the light,
You dissapear.
Alive and dead.
Shifting, breathing,
Foolishly you chase the shadows.
Gental, Destrucive,
That witch you hold burns by your touch.
Empty, a soul,
Never can you be seen when you are most needed.
Like the light,
You dissapear.
Author notes
the line 'Never can you be seen when you are most needed.' refers to myself and others, when we are lost in sorrow or anger we can not see the light, someone else has to guide us or we keep runing farther in dismay.

My, it's been awhile since I've read one of your poems, Ray. I liked the part of empty, soul and light. It made me think of how sometimes when the people we need most in our lives to be there for us in tough times, they might not be there. Thanks for sharing and keep that pen flowing.
