I asked my friend for courage
so I would not be afraid.
I asked my friend for help
Ao by my side he stayed.
I asked my friend for advice
As I didn't know what to do.
I also asked my friend for love
and he sent me YOU.
My friend is always there for me.
whether I do right or wrong.
My friend he walks beside me.
And gives me strengh to carry on.
I do not always listen
when I think life is unfair.
But yet, I always thank my friend
When I say my prayers.
