blink of an eye; maturity.
surreally authentic;
they ameliorate.
Lost in vanity; finally there
jack of all, master of one,
bewitching and deceiving;
with reluctance, they palliate.
Strangling web knit; finally unfair
malevolent clutches;
you reap what you sow,
you pay until you’ve paid;
malignant clutches.
Now they can’t befriend.
Yellow lemons and green chilies;
Green chilies and yellow lemons.
Author notes
This poem may seem to be very simple but has a great message in it. And the essence of the poem actually lies in green chilies and yellow lemons. if you are unable to guess how, do let me know....

whoooohooo. nice work on this. I love it. The ramble is actually perfect sense.
I like that you chose an incredibly unique theme and stayed with it
WE learn many many lessons, yet we still fail to understand all the meanings...lol.
I think this is one great piece of poetry.

Am I going dumb, or what????
I can not grasp this write.....well, I can guess at your Theme, but I hate guessing.....OY!
Another abstract write from another great writer :)
I have to admit, I only have the IQ of that bug crawling up your leg right now, but most of the time I can see right through a write with no problem at all ~
I will not lie.....I do not know what this about.....sniffles*
Let me know after the contest, and then I'll give you clappers ~
I know the lines are great....the words are deep and well chosen.....but you have me here....Grrr ~
