Heart With Soul

Missing image

To love is to bear one's soul with heart,
expressing who you truly are from the start.
The beauty that comes from being just who you are,
blesses everybody I know in this life thus far.

Natural beauty that dwells deep within,
touches the souls of many when it begins.
Self seeking always seems to disappear,
being of service with heart does appear.

Down deep into the root of our very being,
this is where the heart with soul is seeing.
Developing into what God intended us to be,
heart with soul when shared, is what sets us free.

    a beautiful write, but like i saw with a few others this tells me what A soul or THE soul looks like or could be. my question to you though was to show me YOUR soul. i may have missed if you did and i am sorry if i did, but just telling you what i got form this. thank you for sharing it all the same and good luck in the compatition.

    Lovely indeed

    I was told once from one of my beloved aunts that life is a gift yet not truly a gift until your love is given to others about you .That gift which was given was meant to be shared for its not truly a gift until you give it away through understanding love and smiles given to others along the way .Excellent write here

    What an interesting and unusual picture you have used for this poem - the lines just flow and show wonderful flow, rhythm and rhyme. Certainly from the heart and filled with heartfelt thoughts.

    This poem is so very true.
    I fell in love for the first time not so long ago and this poem was perfect for what happened. I was myself and gave heart and soul to him.
    Unfortunately he took both gave back nothing except the torn pieces but hey what can you do.

    this is truly a beautiful poem. I was touched by your words and am pleased to have read it. the rhyming was so good. the flow broke in a few places but thats just me nit pickings I really like this piece over all and I plan to read more of your works

    Great message!

    Being true to yourself and others is the very best thing you can do. Unfortunately a lot of people don't know how to do that. Good poem and I loved the rhyme.
