Different
in looks,
language,
origin, or
culture.
We all
live and
share this
small space
in time.
No matter
differences,
similarities
abound,
if sought.
Shapes,
in shades,
all hues
accepted
if taught.
Distrusting
unfamiliar,
unusual sights
and sounds
we fear.
Fear hates.
Hate hurts
all not only,
the one it is
plied against.
Author notes
anyone is perceived as alien who is different, or unusual regardless of what specific disimilarities there may be.

you didn't describe an alien in this but I'll leave it in.
