I was drawn to him like a magnet
In a way that just didn't quite fit
It wasn't like family,
Friends, boyfriends, anything
I just always wanted to talk to him
And I dreamed of meeting him
Even though I knew I never would
Every spare moment I would think about him
We were friends in the most
Perfect sort of way
But of course, it wasn't quite perfect
No matter how much I was magnetized to him
It just didn't quite fit, it wasn't right
So it had to end
In a way that just didn't quite fit
It wasn't like family,
Friends, boyfriends, anything
I just always wanted to talk to him
And I dreamed of meeting him
Even though I knew I never would
Every spare moment I would think about him
We were friends in the most
Perfect sort of way
But of course, it wasn't quite perfect
No matter how much I was magnetized to him
It just didn't quite fit, it wasn't right
So it had to end
Author notes
I chose the quote,
"He and I had something beautiful
but so dysfunctional it couldn't last"
- 'Near to You' by A Fine Frenzy
This was also based on something that happened a year ago...online (big hint there, to any of you who are wondering). I'm not sure if this is about the quote enough, but I did my best ^.^

This definitely has potential, it just needs a little more pizz-azz or something to make it livelier. The ending fit, but it could've been a little longer. But that's just my opinion.
Thank you for entering, and good luck
