Good Lookin out

Growin up I never had to watch my back
even when dudes who were after me were clearly in front of me
and danger had found me it never approached me, but other than that
naggas say I'm never by myself, that I'm always mobbin deep
But really I go everywhere alone except for church really
cause it's a little far from home
but other than that I'm always alone
I just tend to change my habits daily
cause predictable is a term to which I don't wanna be prone
and I don't like people figurin my ways
when I'm leavin and comin home.
And besides, I don't have that many people close to me to mob deep wit me
cause I choose who I hang around, and I'm SO so picky.
But niggas say, when I walk I always got an army behind me
But when I'm out and about, I look over my shoulders but never see the army
where's the military, where's the mob that they continuously see?
And my enemies walk pass my house all the time, they look but don't speak
and the reason, I hear, is that I always got a group of people on my porch
which is funny, cause I never really have company
except for maybe a business man or a young lady
But I guess it's the lifelong benefit that they see
cause The military, of which they constantly speak
are the Angles of God staying close, and watchin over me
That's good lookin out you see?
And because I'm enlisted in such a powerful military
my retirement plan is out of this world... Literally!!!
So while I'm living, I'm always at war but the battles aren't mine for the fighting
Thanks to my Father in heaven, I don't have to lift a finger to my enemies
and I don't know about you but what branch of the military gone look out for their own like Jesus does 24/7 for me?
