And if asked about discovering God,
I will tell them all that I have!
For I have been to thy forested wood
where her trees, like Angels, shelter thee;
and whose denizens paradigm the very welcoming
of the lord himself.
And if asked of Eternal Paradise,
I will tell them that I have been there!
For I have been to thy summertime fields
where the Sun, like a Cherub, smiles upon thee;
and whose lilacs instill the very smell and warmth
of heaven itself.
And if asked about Holy Communion,
I will tell them that I have been there!
For I have been to thy placid river
where the birds, Like the Muses, sing unto thee;
and whose babbling currents magnify the venerable chant
of mass itself.
And if asked of being devout,
I will tell them that I am.
For I have been to
thy Sanctified Wood;
thy Consecrated Field;
and thy Immaculate River!
Author notes
Option 2
Also, because of the pattern of enjambment that I used, "chant" falls on the end of a "line" in the third stanza. Technically, the lines separated by enjambments are still connected, so I hope this won't be a problem.

Hello there!
I'm much impressed with this well sculpted piece of
poetry. You've woven the selected words of the criteria for a beautiful peek into the half world of divine... earth!
Gorgeous images and well queued symmetry are what separate this from the mundane. As free verse goes,
the enjambment to which you refer is not a stark
change. I've used this method myself. Sometimes it
works and sometimes, not.
Thank you for giving us not only an entry, but an EXAMPLE to classic writing in the tempo of today's
excitement of faith.
And whose denizens paradigm the very welcoming
Of the lord himself. <---- my favorite lines. They make the 'heart' of this intimacy with the Lord of All!
A literary gem!
