You can see
That I will swim
Through this lake of memories
Until I can find a balance
Between the things I have
And what I don't have
Anymore
My world has come crashing down
Stars fell on stars
While the wind
Brushes my hair
Leaving nothing left
But my battered face
I have no choice but
To try to walk free
Upon these waters
And hope that one day
My black heavy wings
Will let me fly
You can see
That I will swim
Through this lake of memories
Until I can find a balance
Between the things I have
And what I don't have
Anymore
