What's real's their love:
Food given freely.
Let's eat, man.
Saffron's in
my belly & heart.
Mellow yellow, dude.
Get some
in ya,
love.

Been there done that. Better than tee shirts. Keeps you alive.

Maybe the best way to say thanks is to be real, to do good for the one whom you wish to thank

This is great. Its so simple but you can read so much into it. Its easy to tell you have been there
thanks so much.
*peace*

Oh my goodness!
A poem that feels good!

I was a young traveller when the Hare Krishnas helped me
They took me in and fed me. They gave me a place to rest and treated me like a human being.
They did not brain wash me or pull me in their religion. They just were good hosts. -

I thought there was a wonderful story behind your poem!
Good to hear such a happy message. It has been years since I saw a Hare Krishna but if I ever do, I shall remember what you said.

Wow. I'm not sure what to even say. It seemed funny, but I don't think I'm getting the big picture here. There must be more than what I see

If you have ever visited a Hare Krishna centre, you might get what I am saying
They have a practice of feeding folk, the poor and the hungry travellers, with asking nothing in return, just being good hosts.
Saffron is the spice in the rice.
They Call Me Mellow Yellow is a line out of "I'm just crazy bout Saffron" one of Donovan's songs of the 60's.
