Strong again
You picked me up
Back on the path
You have work
for me to do
Kids to love
teens to cherish
heartaches gone now
pains forgotten
love and hope rule
and Lord...
I am sorry
I almost forget
what you had
for me to do
You picked me up
Back on the path
You have work
for me to do
Kids to love
teens to cherish
heartaches gone now
pains forgotten
love and hope rule
and Lord...
I am sorry
I almost forget
what you had
for me to do
In a list
What did you think

I feel that what The Lord has for us to do is the very same good things that we already do! He puts things in our path, He guides us to where He wants us! If only we just listen with our hearts then I believe we will be okay!

Man, do I relate to this. There are many times when I have to stop and think...remember that He has something for me to do that is beyond just making it through the day. How easy it can be stray.
I really love the strength portrayed here...His strength in you.

this one sounds very beautiful, more so because I myself have stepped onto a path of self realization and with every passing day, I feel myself coming closer to my God. I am thankful to you for sharing this piece.
Cheers and keep writing.

I hope I NEVER forget my calling.
And let go of MY pain, my hurts and aches
in order to help others and speak for those who cannot.
Because before helping others to heal we must be healed ourselves and that's what I have--HIS healing.

A beautiful poem my friend. God is so amazing. He gives us His love to share with those in need of it so we can forget about our own pain. He is truly an Amzing God. A beautiful and uplifting poem!!!
Bless You,
Sandy

yes my friend
We oft let our own hurts and sorrows drag us away from God's plans for us. I let some recent hurts drag me away and the calls from wounded kids........ Daddy, we need you........ I had to come back and lay aside my hurts. My own hurts and pains don't matter that much but the children God has given me to shepherd are all that matters. I turned back to them and the pain went away. God bless you my precious friend for your always encouraging comments. Love and friendship always, Mark
