My life was spiralling
so fast I couldn't keep track
coming of the rail at such speed
I was likely to fall of the cliff
Plummet headfirst into untimely death
stress and hurt
were what I was filled with
unkowing future and endless nights.
Pain, unimaginable pain
coursign through my body
with no release,
not a breath I took, did I hate
Not a step I took, did I doubt
I was in need of someone
and just like an ambulance
you came rushing round the corner
to catch me as I fell that final time.
And you took my brain, and
you made me what I am
your laughter is what I crave
and surely I would have died
if you had not picked me up
from the desolate floor I belonged to
from the rubbish bin
my mind was trapped in.
And I didn't know then, that
when you caught, my life
would turn out so wonderful,
and I would have you as my best friend
through thick and thin
To wade with through trouble
and to fly with through joy
Something so simple as a hand
can turn into something so purely wonderful

I wrote this in a random form, no rhyme, trying to get you to realise how deep I feel about this person. Andrew is my best friend, we were friends all along but, recently | was really stressed with all the things I had to do and I could just walk and talk with him everyday, I still do, and he just makes sense of everything in a weird abnormal way. And this contest was my chance to thank him for everything.
