I must be a
'stone'.
Ancient, sometimes... mo'o'ooving
to sit here, all
'alone'
secure with gravity... cont'r'rolling.
Hard.
Cool.
Grass that stops me... r'r'r'r'rolling.
Mossy
on the side,
never have a heada...che,
never am I ba... d,
never have to;
worry, fret, smile or frown, make a bet,
second guess, be surprised
night or day ain't got no eyes.
What's 'time by'?
What's a 'lie'?
What's a 'laugh'?
I just lay,
What's a 'cry'?
Questions , questions... what are they...
I am a stone
a stone...
stone...
stone

I like this! You've either brought a stone to life or given birth to the world's greatest couch potato!!!
I love the movement in this, the way you have written was strange at first, but I understood later what you were doing. With two minutes to spare, you did very well! Thank you so much for entering this delightful read. Patricia

Hi Patricia,
I must confess that the two minutes to spare note was from when I wrote this a little while back, for the same kind of theme. Thanks for your perceptive eyes and kind comment.

Ha ha! You put it on after all. You're a funny man. I like the new additions.

I guess if I were a stone, I would feel the same way...Hmm do stones feel? I loved the way you brought an inanimate object to life. Very abstract thinking. Talent is not something everyone is born with. You have shown you're talent here. Good luck with the contest! Thanks for sharing!

I believe they are perfectly 'stone' and therefore are and 'feel', simply the 'pureness' of their limited quality. Thank you so much for your kind comment. Sol

I find it great to hop into another entity, organic or inorganic - I think this deed can enable one to get a view of another dimension, or at least to separate from the centralising self. =) Cool
