Like wolves in
the night,
you eat away
all my being.
Like Existance
you deprive
me of life.
You take the hardest,
leaving the soft
merely with blood
soakin' wounds.
Crushing bones with
your strength
and swallowing
the human spirit alive.
In the darkest corners
you hide that which
you have achieved...
World Domination.
People all around cry
in your mist...
and consider you worse
than any capital punishment.
We fight, long and
hard; your fangs
reach deep and
shred all silver linings.
Laying still,
you've sucked
all the marrow
from my bones.
And I'm dead.

Good
Nice write, this could be about a lot of different people. Mostly those who are purportint his one-world government idelogy and others that would seek to achieve the pinnacle of power so many that came before them did. And yes, they are the wolves afflicting the human race with death(thats my intrepretation - and they are like cancer). Thanks for sharing.
I would've loved to make this a finalist based on the message alone however the imagery and other poetic devices were lacking.
