Why all the gossip?
Why all the lies?
Is it 'cuz,
No one has time?
Time for friends,
Time to believe,
The people that care,
The people that are there!
All anyone does,
Is just smoke pot and party.
We all stray from the path,
That will lead us to salvation.
But no one really cares,
About the one who does care!
They took Him out of our schools,
They try to take Him out of our lives,
And now they try to take Him out of money!
They think their cool,
Those who fight,
Those who drink,
And those who lie!
We aren't perfect,
For only He is,
But when we try to live for Him,
The enemy comes,
And tries to fight,
He leaves those feelings,
Of questioning and faliure,
But always remember,
He'll always be there.
Now I will say,
As you wish,
And end this piece
Of my ode to you!
