Molded masterminds meet
behind closed doors,
shielded from suspicious eyes
as their exalted egos
examine papers,
carelessly creating cost-cuts in care
concerning the weak and helpless,
lining lint-filled pockets first
with garnished greens,
pilfered from the poor.
Wearied workers provide
luxuries for the lazy,
who expect others
to support their existence
so they don’t have to
get off their fat butts;
workers function to also provide
riches for the racketeers,
who don’t have enough money
to pay for that tenth Cadillac;
and the endangered employees
still toil hard enough
to pay for their own paychecks.
Determined do-gooders,
force others to grant generosities
to the warped,
while stealing the lives of the victims,
failing to see the truth
of the lies surrounding them
in their faulty faiths.
Humans….a species in trouble
dining upon the blood of their own
as just desserts,
eliminating their own existence
but too conceited to believe
that they, too, will someday cease
to have any meaning….at all.

Just discouraged at how the system takes more and more and more from the working man to provide for those who don't want to work and feel you should support them. And discouraged at those do-gooders who get laws passed to protect the criminals, while taking away the rights of the victims.
Just another angry day I guess. Discouraged and depressed.

Nice well written there is an element of truth in what
you say except you have left out the main exploiters
the Capitalist Class who are going cap in hand for
a hand out from your tax to pay for their banks incompetence from which they are rewarding themselves

I wrote this a couple years ago - I was upset with all the incompetence at a nursing home......
but yes, if I re-wrote this for today's economy, it would have a LOT more added to it...lol

I don't like to think this way or I get way too angry..
we are "poor" folks I guess...never taken anything from the government.....so why do they always want ours? I so agree...and this is so well said!
I hope our country (the people) wake up before it's too late (although I have a feeling we are going to see it get a lot worse soon) I feel for those who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own...our
leaders are selling us out...Cheney just bought a place in Dubai (sp?) and Laura Bush just bought

I have been getting way too angry (or crying - 'raindrops'..lol)...but I wrote a nice, soft spiritual-type earlier to make up for this one...hahahaha)
I feel it's going to get much worse, too....unfortunately. The working man is feeling more and more like he's only working to support the rich - or those who are too lazy to work - and it does cause anger and discouragement.
Too bad there's no law stating that since Cheney bought in Dubal, that's where he HAS to live!!! Same for the 'bush'!! Or any of those in politics who won't spend their money helping their own, but buy/spend elsewhere! Burns me up! I say we need another 'Boston Tea Party' although the Salem trials sound more befitting!!! - there....LOL....you're getting ME started!!
