creating colors
in her monochrome world
wasting not the endless selection
washes brushes and horse hair
the cleanliness versus the messiness
easel pallet and the warm air
stand in her view
mind travels
in and out
and through again
until
the vision comes
springing her soul to life
as she paints herself
over
and
over
colors splash the canvas
and her pants
she cares not
wanting to divulge
herself
onto her work
