On death's evening I Am has found me patiently waiting
a place at supper's table where I Am communes with Holy spirit.
"Be as one we are all", words are clearly heard and understood.
Lovingly loving love I Am loves above all.
All will be seen without sight,
all that is unseen will be shown.
Where all of nothing is everything,
everything is of I Am.
Death cannot hold that which is free,
neither here nor there come hither.
I Am beckons children home.
I Am, The Lord, Thy God, Supreme Architect of The Universe;
hold me gently in your arms
shower the innocence of purity around me
making me bold to persevere.
Keep me steadfast faith shall overcome,
as my beginning is coming to an end.
Many things have been bitterly wasted,
this tree has been pruned and allowed to grow.
I Am many thanks given for bearing sweet fruit,
let my ending become a beginning;
be it your desire I Am.

This is true.
For sure death cannot hold that which has been set free by the Lord. Life is a proces, and I know this well, one of my patient's left a life of pain for a better place.

Ahhhhh. . . that was beautiful. Truly a prayer but more than that. I love where it says "Death cannot hold that which is free / neither here nor there come hither / I Am beckons children home". That's just amazing. I love it.

Certainly goes beyond the spiritual and philosophical - not sure where . Very in depth sentiments expressed, details given and something that might pertain to many who have faith, no matter what - that hope that keeps one going.

Uplifting
All though I am not one to write or truly enjoy religious based writing, this is very uplifting. It is funny how people can have beliefs that are fundamentally so different but can share spiritual faith that transcends all differences. Faith in ones beliefs can create hate, violence even death. On the same note, faith in ones belief can be ones savior and create unity as well as heavenly good in the world. I may not understand the essence of the belief but I can appreciate the faith. Thank you for sharing -
thank you so much for this truly touching poem ...
you have gone even further than just embracing the typical concepts dear to the philosophy and spirituality of india, in going right to its essence, and revealing us its fruits ...
I am not surprised, that the poet who wrote the comment before mine, felt touched in her "christianity", for I am certain, that a budhist will tell you the same, as will a muslim ...
for me, this is the true sense of spirituality : uniting what - on the surface - seems separated ... and this is what you did with your verse ...
I AM thanks I AM
