My first novena to Saint Jude

O.K. let's get this right:
no forgetting, & keep it tight.

Saint Jude:

didn't mean to be rude.
That was me starting
to pray,
then got distracted
typical, if not just
another day for me.

Hey Jude:

I was afraid,
but seems you might know
what to do,
or at least pray for me,
what might seem hopeless.

& Jude,
share if you can
some of that wisdom you got
in your troubled but blessed life.

I'm here for ya, Jude,
if you can just guide me,
keep praying too,
be beside me.

When all seems lost,
& I'm in the sauce,
help me step out of it,
of the day to day shit,
clean up & start again.

My friend:

I know I'm a mess,
but can redress
and address what needs
to be resolved

through Christ our Lord,
Amen.

Have realized again how prayer does not have to be confined to old formulas, that if you place your conscious mind and spirit into communication, it can be refreshed as also your spirit can be renewed.
