a painter's thoughts

If he who paints the glories of life,
Was the one who dies tomorrow,
Then he who paints the undefeated emotions of life,
Will be the one who lives for eternity,
For he is the sinner in this world,
And he no longer submits the dangers of life,
The chosen one is the creator of saint Juliana,
and paints her personality with the brush of tomorrow.

You seem to be describing two different styles of painters.

The first painter may be hired by the winners to paint their great battle scenes. His work becomes of less and less general interest as nations and rulers rise and fall.

The second artist depicts the struggles of the human soul, which have impact and arouse feelings of sympathy for as long as there are humans to view it.

The work of the second may be "unconventional" or in a fresh style spurned by the high and mighty of his generation. Yet his "brush of tomorrow" may be what brings new understandings and great beauty to light.
