    These are poetic forms

    that I am beginning to study. I can't effectively critique your poems. I love this form. I hope to someday write in it. I appreciate someone who already is using Haiku and Tanka. I hope you do well in this contest. And may you progress in your voice. Well done, poetess

    I like the first one. Much more powerful imagery. The second one doesn't quite fit the picture. The 5-7-5 pattern is often hard ot use.
