Look at a dollar,
Examine it,
What can you do with is?
How much is it really worth?
All a dollar is, is paper,
A piece of paper and ink.
We are raised to believe it has value,
It doesn’t.
The only value in it is faith.
As long as people believe it has value,
It is worth something.
If people stop believing it’s worth something,
It’s not worth a thing.
Our nation is built upon faith.
Faith is the foundation of our country.
I’m not speaking of religious faith,
Instead, just the belief of something in general.
In reality, a penny is worth more than a dollar.
The copper it contains makes it more than paper.
Ironic really.
We see something less as something more,
And something more as something less.
Ah, the wonders of our nation.
