How did it come down to this?
Once we stood side by side,
And now you stand facing me
And there is nowhere left to hide.
It's been a long time coming,
We've faced each other before,
And now that it's come down to this
I can't delay it anymore.
From the very start,
We always found a way
To watch each others backs
And take the pain away.
Will I end up loosing you someday?
I want to protect you
and stop your smile fading away.
And even now, with the winds howling in my ears
I swear I will protect you
For I declare that you and I
We are friends and brothers too.
And now, we stand and take our final bow
As we turn to fight each other
Know that whatever happens I did love you
For to me...you were my brother

I'm not sure if I've missed the intended theme completely but oh well...that and I'm not good at poetry. This is actually based on Azazel and Rafael...more like Azazel's last thoughts. Of course...that's only any good if you know who they are and there are only 3 people aside from me that do know but oh well. Enjoy people
