Mako Eyes


I sense the regret-the sadness-the self-loathing
the sorrow-the anger-the hatred that's growing
bursting from your shaking form like a hellish sunrise
hidden deep behind comtemplative mako eyes

kokoro no soko no kimochi wa aru no?"

You call yourself monster-you're who you make yourself!
You cannot predestine yourself by what lies on a shelf!

all you are now is the simplest pawn

A broken world, confusion punctuated by helpless cries
all by the man with the mako eyes.

    ok, Crisis Core inspired DEFINITLY, lol, you can't hide something like that from me.

    I love the reference to "monster" considering Angeal, Genesis, (and Seph? don't tell me :-)) call themselves that, even though Zack tells Angeal they're an angel's wings.

    It's brilliant, I could read it twice over with a different flow and both fitted quite well, keep up the good work my CC loving friend :-)
