There is a whisper in my soul,
What is it saying?
It's too faint to hear,
But it sounds like a voice,
A voice trying to tell me something,
Something that may be important.
I close my eyes,
And focus all my thought,
Allowing it to grow,
So I can hear its reply,
At last I can hear its words.
The voice is saying,
"Do not mess this up,
The love you hold I mean,
You know it is true,
Just follow your heart",
Says the distant voice,
As it disappears.
So I go with my heart,
And give my love to only one,
The one who is there beside me,
The girl I think of nonstop,
Even when I am in darkness,
The one true love for me.
The bringer of life,
And of light,
That sparks my desire,
The one I want to be with,
Forevermore.
