Untimely Departure Of A Poet

Orgasmic release, vivid colors
of time, seeking recognition
from mute tongue and mind.
Futuristic happenings, perhaps
longings from within, or yesteryear's
and yesterdays, cascade like a
power-point, only to descend.

Blank canvas and brittle parchment,
now yellowed with time, unstroked
by quill or brush, thirsty and dry.

Await me, my darling, my untimely
departure forgive, I'll lavish you
with extravagant words and paint
your world with bliss...when I find
the key to free myself, from this
prison I have built.

    Exquisite!

    Everything including the background
    works in this magnificent piece.
Your words flow with eloquence and passion.
    Creating a masterpiece of perfection.
One could tell that you're a sensitive
person who feels deeply about things.
and yes I agree, its a tragedy to lose
    ones muse. Nicely done

thanks for your kind comments, and yes, writing is my release, however, I've had to divert my attention to other things and even when I have to time to visit here, most often my mind just draws a blank.

      Blessings,
      Sassy
