Hellooooooooooooooo…

This is my mind speaking to your mind.

Yes, I do own ten fingers that do my bidding.
They’ve helped me survive,
as do our eyes, which without we would not connect here…

My fingers and eyes have done well.
In fact, I live quite comfortably,
and can now, in quiet solitude, reach out to you
through this page…

You know, these words may seem surreal, even trivial,
but consider:

Via these agreed-upon patterns on this page,
these pixels shot across this screen of yours,
we could rendezvous in the physical world,
We could transfer wealth,
We could coordinate our efforts,
Plan.
Execute.

So you see, these words have a power,
perhaps greater than the fabled sword.

Sooooooooooo…
what to do with all this power…
fritter it away in frivolous meter and rhyme?

Let us consider the poetic application of words-

is it really an endeavor that merely fritters away our effort and time?
You only have to look within your heart for the answer,
for nothing reaches its depths like a poetic delivery-
and via that, we can be hurt or helped
on psyche and emotional planes…

for example, I could reach out to your heart, touch it with fine words,
and create a spark of love;

then, with passing silence- the absence of words
over a period of just a few days,
I could tear your heart out…
then come back and mend it, apologetically,
with sincerity...

and let's not forget that there is nothing like words
to frame our perceptions.
In fact, what we think and perceive
are entirely bound by our vocabulary.

So is it important to write?
Indubitably.
As important as it is to exist.

so long as you actually got through the whole thing, understood it, and detected no shallowness or vanity from me, then I say, Hellooooooooooooooo!
