Soul's Serenade

Soft words tick away
moments of time to another day.
That lying beneath the veil of truth;
captured, enraptured; my inner youth.

Where secrets belie mystery's call
and depths of the heart conquer it all.
To trust again, in your arms I would lay;
and bare my soul in open display.
Lost in those eyes, mesmerized by the smile;
the serenade's rhythm transcending the miles.

With each beat, the moment plays on
to carry the time of my soul's song.
Until one day, it's sung loud and clear
with intentions and hopes that you will hear.

  • Great one

    I liked the flow tempo and word selection on this poem, the sentiment as well. I thank you for stopping by and reading one of my poems.
