Westerly winds and blue skies came my way
A promise of warm clime brought songs and rhyme
Birds a fancy all aflight and at play
Snow creeping back showing old leaves and grime
Brown paper ghosts dance forlorn, old and frail
On goblin whirlwinds their mischief to spite
In corners where melt are tears leave a trail
Of last autumn's mourning and robins flight
Jambalaya spring has come revealing
Its song of life and of old memories
Old empty nests on bare trees still haunting
Birds chortle to the season's homilies
of restless winds and rain jambalaya
A mystic call as old as the Maya

This is not bad ...
but you need to fix the errors here:
In corners where melt are tears leave a trail (where melting tears leave trails?)
Of last autumn's mourning and robins flight (robin's flight)
otherwise, you've done a credible job here.

Old memories are worth keeping, love the poem dear poetguy

Even though it's under construction, I have to say I love the "goblin whirlwinds" and "jambalaya spring" fragments - great descriptiveness!!
