My Little Melody

I close my eyes,
Hide my screams
Crank it up,
&& listen to my dreams.
I flow with the melody
&& dance inside my mind.
My personal vacation
I leave the world behind.
I tune out reality,
I see things you cannot see.
My dreams, My thoughts, My fantasies.
Dancing to the theme song of my life,
As i walk down the streets.
The pace of my feet,
The pace the drum beats.
Music is reality.
My little melody.

    I like the message behind the poem and how it is so sweet that music is your life. The imgery is good and it is good you have something to hold on to. congrats on the bronze and good luck!!!!

    Very nice. I love how it seems as if you're tuning out the world, and just going into like a trance...letting the music take you where it leads. Into the streets. Great imagery. It's like the music is pulling you away from reality more and more, the farther you go down the street. Very nice!
