crash
only chaos left in this abysmal night
i remember when i used to inflict the pain
because the glamor of being the bruised queen
was too much to bear in this dysfunction
and this cliche disaster was in all the photographs
all the color drained from my skin
and in the grave light of day
when the mildew stains always showed
and the secret tragedy of my imperfections
turned up in the memorable fragments of my dreams
i let myself collide into the sharpness
collapse pooled in the scarlet remnants
everything was mangled and covered in confetti
the cigarettes left their stench on my clothes
and i lost all feeling drowned in the liquor
was there a time when i never thought about the gun
and the shadow would take me over
i wasn't afraid of it as much as i would have wished
and every song i wrote was about you

I felt this was more prose than poetry, but still it was nicely written. I think you have just the right amount of adjectives in here as well, often pieces like this can be overdone but you have balanced it well.
