    The "hate how much I love you" thing is so cliche. Sure, it's the prompt, but there's really nothing new to what you've written, nothing that screams "original" or "StarIlluminated"; it's just bland and has been written in exactly the same way by thousands of people.

    Like Jeanette said, you could have gone more in-depth as to how and why you both hate and love this person. You could have showed us this passionate situation instead of resorting to telling us all with incredibly bland diction. It was a nice try, but the trite & weak rendering of the idea just doesn't match up to any sort of inspired, tortured, hate-love mixture.

    This was a good personal interpretation of the quote. Although, I thought it was somewhat cliche in the matter of the "I love you but I hate you" scenario. You could have gone more in depth than simply stating how you hate/love the person. But anyway, this was a good attempt on the prompt. Thank you for entering, and good luck!

    That is a beautifully written poem that explains just how i feel about my boyfriend right now sometimes i cant stand the sight of him but yet im so addicted to him. love hurts x
