I wrote this at the very beginning of my relationship with my the person I am about to marry next month. I found it while looking through memorabilia that we have collected over the course of our relationship.
We spent an evening together in December hiking on this hill in the middle of nowhere to watch the stars. We held each other close for warmth because it was freezing outside. I will never forget him stepping in a hole in the dark and laughing because a cow mooed at the same time. It was one of those had to be there moments.
