Nature's Children

Lie still my bud in your cradle of soil
scented pearl of purity
no hand shall ever snatch our secret
in our silent wood
where golden fronds spread about my feet and face
reflecting their brilliance
such precious offerings I could not push aside
they had taken me within threadbare fingers
swimming upon the lake like coloured butterflies

below the protective oak I sit
resting against it's sturdy side
oh that this time should never fade away
not slip from me
there is nothing to compare with nature's children
simple
uncorruptable

sacred soil bearing up
only what is marvellous and eternal
beauty everlasting
reborn at each season
as we fade on
now sweet robin searches for his nest above the snow
unafraid
his heart flutters
winter is a tear away.

I love the phrase winter is a tear away. ur poem is so full of beautiful imagery like a summon to something close to you. Very delicately woven. Only suggestion here would be keep your sentences intact. good work!!
