There’s a burst of brilliant colours.
There’re blooms I’ve never noticed before.
Everyone seems like a friend,
Even the nosey neighbor next door.
There’s a guitar strumming away in my chest.
A violin humming in my ears.
There’s this unexplainable euphoria.
Seems like I’ve taken leave of my fears.
There’s nothing yet everything,
There’s something that means all.
There’s me, there’s you,
And all our friends having a ball.
I know what it is we’re celebrating.
Yet I don’t fully understand.
It’s happened to me before,
But it was never so grand.
If I had to put my finger on it,
And give the reason away.
You know I’ll be pointing at you.
The sole cause of this feeling so new.
Oh yes, its you,
And I madly love you.
