Shackled and sandwiched in again;
who knew that this time...
would wrap 'the' exit plan?
Common place occurrence (simple show),
would give rise to exemplary undertow.
Freedom to the beat of a different drum;
Is how the itch-dissipates; and how I overcome.
Never say never, in ever-land.
Make inquiry of where you are,
and of the season's plan.
Who's to say that if you sing the song,
you can't snatch what is 'right' from the jaws of 'wrong'
And, who can counter with another rhyme?
The song you sing to the beat of time?
Author notes
Atomic fallout pieces of beef ground mud,
Dead on arrival ambulance run foretold
Well this refers to the quality of our meats.

I like the flow of this poem and the occasional rhyme (something I often do myself.) I do get the message here and it is valid. The thing that I would like to see here is more visuals in this write.
My poetic lines happen to use the quality of the meat as a means to talk about a deeper subject.
I appreciate your entry.

a good piece of poetry you have penned - i like that right and wrong line with the jaws, that stands out in the poem for me

thanks Ian, for some reason, I tend to write at my most inappropriate moments of time...I think I'll alter that and put more focus into my writing.
