A Photo I took while in Colorado.... Boulder. The house was built in the middle 1800's or so. Wonderful town.

A complicated thought presented with a mysterious dash of simplicity!! Brilliant work!!

all the wee intricasies of a house... i love wee nooks and crannies, hidden from view. och,what better fun to explore the mysteries that are layen befor ye in the form of a winding hidden stairwell.

Ooo very mysterious ^_^

Beautiful senryu ..and I love the metaphorical image ..in the photo, and in the words
Photokus are still my favorites.
-
nice arcitecture, and the thought, unknown dreams, kinda makes me think there could be some not so nice stuff up there...
i think thats the poignant part of the haiku, anticipation of the truly unknown, even in a sublime setting. -
never saw this method used on ap before
can envision a whole book of these
(i'll be your manager - a straight 15% - haha)
bravo

Wonderful Haiku- and arising so many thoughts- I only say I love it!

YAY!!!!
I love how you capture these images and find the perfect words to accompany them
The picture was hauntingly beautiful while your words were somehow a mysterious truth {if that all makes sense}
I am grateful for your ability to capture so much with 3 lines and a picture~~ poetic heart and poetic eyes you have
Wonderful this is {you should sell these
}

Wonderful!!
Haikumonk...I like the hidden meanings in this Haiku. With the photo, we see a winding staircase leading to somewhere or to nowhere; but the fun is in the imagining. My son is stationed in Colorado Springs, CO. He thinks it is very beautiful and loves it there. Thanks for the comment on "Blush Of Moonlight." I hope the new third line will fit the Haiku better. **Ivy Rose -

Kinda sums up life , your words...never knowing what is waiting around the corner...could be construed as erotic and philosophical ...tranquility was the first thing that sprang to mind when reading this...words open to so much interpretation...
Enjoyed this...

contemplative haiku, as usual, with a many levels of meaning. the photo kind of reminds me of one I took a long time ago where the stairs literally led nowhere. it was pretty freaky! nice one, monk! lily

Oooohhhh. That is cool. I mean, you sit there wondering, What exactly waits for me at the top of that staircase. What is my destiny, where does it call. This rocks man.

Nice
Very nice...as usual. -
AH....love this one Don. Hidden stairways hold so much mystery...Hidden because they take you to a world more brighter than you've ever known, and because only the select few who find them are worthy enough to go there OR hidden because the world they lead to is full of demons...better left kept in hiding. How interesting...my thoughts wonder. Forgive such a rambling comment.

would have been more moving if not in such contemporary surroundings. nice photography, nonetheless. keep ur eyes open for more rustic opps!
